A man was killed Thursday when a pickup truck crashed in Whittier. The single-vehicle crash was reported about 4:15 a.m. in the 1300 block of Whittier Boulevard, according to the Whittier Police Department. Police said the man, believed to have been the driver and sole occupant of the truck, died at the scene. Information on his identity was not immediately available. The circumstances of the crash were under investigation.
